Development of Philippine Rice Information System as an Operational System for Rice Monitoring to Support Decision Making Towards Increased Rice Production in Region 8 won as best research paper at the annual inter-agency RDE review on 18-19 November in Batbangon, Leyte. The inter agency RDE review, done annually, seeks to improve on-going research, development and extension projects and identify possible projects that can be presented in regional symposiums and conventions. The recognition was given to Rufel Gula (PRISM focal person) during the awarding ceremony. She and her team received a certificate of recognition and a cash prize worth 3000 pesos.
