The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) hosted DA’s Management Committee Meeting last April 6, 2015. Regional executive directors as well as undersecretary Emerson Palad graced the event. The seven FSSP projects: Benchmarking, Associated Technologies, Heirloom Rice, Next-Gen, Rice Crop Manager, IFAD, and PRISM were represented in the event.

Dr. Jimmy Quilang presented an overview of the PRISM project and its achievements in the first year 2014. Arnel Rala and Nancy Castilla gave a demonstration of the smartphone and web-based technology and equipment that the project uses.
