PhilRice, Nueva Ecija– The Philippine Rice Information System held its national assessment workshop on project protocols last April 22-24 at PhilRice, CES, Nueva Ecija. Representatives from DA field offices across 7 regions were present on the said event.

The first day focused on the review of the old project protocols and discussions. Updates on the new protocols were also presented to the regions. The second day, was dedicated for hands on exercises on the new forms that will be used this is to familiarize the regions with the discussed changes during the 1st day. Almost all suggestions and feedback from the previous regional meetings were incorporated to the new forms to adapt to the present field conditions.

On the third day, each region presented achievements and progress for the past season. There was also a session to discuss issues and plan for the 2015 wet season.

This three day workshop further strengthened the relationship with the regional partners to carry out the next set of activities for the PRISM project for 2015.
